The Salento is located on the southernmost tip of Puglia.

Is often called peninsula Salento because is completely surrounded by the sea.

Is located between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas.

Flat area, climatically characterized by hot long summers, the sea breezes, make the wines taste fruity.

The soils are composed of clay and limestone, rich in minerals, and have good drainage.

In Salento are grown mostly red grape varieties, the queen here is the autochthonous variety Negroamaro, are also grown, Malvasia Nera, Primitivo and Susumaniello, as well as Malvasia Bianca, Verdeca, Fiano.
