The vines are 20 years old. This makes the wines extract-rich and taste more intense
The aroma is fruity, broad and complex. Hints of wild berries, plum and dried figs mellowed by delicate hints of sweet spices and marzipan
The palate conquers with good tannin supported by an important concentration alcohol content. A robust wine of good complexity, it expresses the most authentic characters of the grape variety
Its impressiveness suggests pairings with structured first courses, roasts, braised meats and cheeses of medium to long maturation

Vinification: Maceration of the skins for 7-8 days in traditional vitrified "fermentini" (fermenters). Racking, completion of alcoholic fermentation and ageing in underground cement tanks according to the traditional production method typical of the "palmenti". Maturation in bottle for 4 months

Characteristics: Complex aroma with the typical notes of Primitivo di Manduria DOC, of dried figs and plums among others
