- Vinification
- The grapes are picked and processed separately due to the different ripening times. The Chardonnay is completely fermented and the Sauvignon partially fermented in barriques. Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Kerner ferment exclusively in stainless steel containers. After this first step, the young wines are married so that the different components find their harmony. After ten months of aging on the fine lees, the wine is bottled and then stored in the cellar for a few more months
- Characteristics
- As a young wine, the "Manna" presents itself with golden yellow nuances. After a few years of maturation, they turn into strong yellow and gold tones. It impresses with its multi-layered bouquet with notes of elderflower, pistachio and delicate rose petals as well as its concentrated, voluminous and at the same time elegant and supple, mineral body. The "Manna" is a versatile wine that presents itself with different notes over time due to the different grape varieties. The high proportion of Riesling gives it shelf life
- Food recommendation
- The "Manna" shows itself from its best side in connection with noble dishes. It is fascinating how the wine adapts to the various dishes, especially the Japanese cuisine with sushi and sashimi, changes and is able to surprise again and again with its diversity and depth
