- Cartizze refers to an area of 106 hectares in the municipality of Valdobbiadene
- The most widespread hypothesis about the origin of the name is that it comes from "gardizze", which in the local dialect refers to the wickerwork ("i graticci") on which the overripe grapes are positioned
- The production area of Cartizze extends over the hamlets of Saccol, San Pietro di Barbozza and Santo Stefano
- It has a young and fruity bouquet and a delicate taste It is very good as an aperitif and also goes well with light desserts
