- The fermentation of the grapes takes place in open vats, where the mash is constantly in contact with the fermenting must through frequent punching down of the cap. In this way, the colorants and aromas can pass into the wine in the best possible way. After fermentation is finished, the wine is moved to barriques where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. The wine matures there for 12 months and after bottling for another almost year on the bottle
- Characteristics
- Pinot Nero Swiss presents itself with delicate to strong ruby red color. Its bouquet charms with multilayered aromas of ripe wild berries and heart cherries, as well as spicy notes with some pepper and leather. The aromas are also reflected in the mouth. On the palate, the wine convinces with soft, juicy tannins, with elegance and finesse, with inviting structure and with a body that gives the wine a long life
